    in the cause of truth, humility and justice;^(G)
    let your right hand^(H) achieve awesome deeds.^(I)
5 Let your sharp arrows^(J) pierce the hearts^(K) of the king’s enemies;^(L)
    let the nations fall beneath your feet.
⁶ Your throne, O God,^[a] will last for ever and ever;^(M)
    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
⁷ You love righteousness^(N) and hate wickedness;^(O)
    therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing^(P) you with the oil of joy.^(Q)
8 All your robes are fragrant^(R) with myrrh^(S) and aloes^(T) and cassia;^(U)
    from palaces adorned with ivory^(V)
    the music of the strings^(W) makes you glad.
⁹ Daughters of kings^(X) are among your honored women;
    at your right hand^(Y) is the royal bride^(Z) in gold of Ophir.^(AA)

¹⁰ Listen, daughter,^(AB) and pay careful attention:^(AC)
    Forget your people^(AD) and your father’s house.
¹¹ Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;^(AE)
    honor^(AF) him, for he is your lord.^(AG)
12 The city of Tyre^(AH) will come with a gift,^[b](AI)
    people of wealth will seek your favor.
¹³ All glorious^(AJ) is the princess within her chamber;
    her gown is interwoven with gold.^(AK)
14 In embroidered garments^(AL) she is led to the king;^(AM)
    her virgin companions^(AN) follow her—
    those brought to be with her.
¹⁵ Led in with joy and gladness,^(AO)
    they enter the palace of the king.
